Ine Posted May 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2013 Other ships that stayed overnight in PVR always were docked.
lovevacadays Posted May 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2013 How fun! You will be able to go and explore Puerto Vallarta at night. I've seen threads on some really good dinner restaurants in the past.
Rare Keith1010 Posted May 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2013 I am sure you will be docked all night. Keith
cathyz Posted June 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Yes, we were on the Splendor last year and had to stay in PV 2 days to avoid a hurricane and stayed docked the whole time. We also had the best thunder and lightening show we've ever seen, it was awesome!
Ilovesailing Posted July 12, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Check when Easter is for 2014 as Puerto Vallarta is an absolute zoo the week before and the week after Easter with locals from all over, even pitching tents on the beach..

downsized Posted August 20, 2013 #10 Share Posted August 20, 2013 How great! On our cruise, we were only in PV for one day. We hustled about, and saw what we could, but always had the departure time looming over us! There is sooooo much to do and see in PV. Be certain to visit "old-town", walk the Malecon, and enjoy the area. Cabs are cheap, so if you walk yourself out, just grab a cab back to the ship.
