hamburgerbabe Posted May 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2013 Do men have to wear jackets in the MDR every night. I know on formal nights they do, but I was wondering if on the other nights a nice collared shirt and slacks are good?

runner15km Posted May 19, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2013 Hi runner15km. Did you mean you did not see any jackets or tie in MDR on nonformal nights or not on formal nights either? Thanks Just saying what I saw last year on the Summit. On formal night there were some gentlemen wearing long sleeve shirts, slacks and no tie, no jacket. On non formal nights most men wore short sleeve shirts with collar and slacks. Two years ago my friend who did not wear a jacket on formal night was turned away. OCruisers Posted May 19, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2013 On Non-Formal nights in the MDR on Celebrity cruises DH wear long dress pants and a golf/polo shirt. No Problem! That's also what most other men wear too. LuLu ~~~~
cl.klink Posted May 21, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Some do wear jackets, and would not look weird to do so. But, most men do not wear jackets. A nice shirt, polo or dress, is fine.
