Toiletries in Staterooms?

Hi all,

 

I've tried searching the different boards, but came up empty -- I'll be sailing the Statendam this July to Alaska and was wondering what toiletries, if any, I can expect in the stateroom?

 

We are booked on an outside cabin, no verandah.

Shower cap, bath soap, hand soap, shampoo w/conditioner, lotion.

 

These should all be replenished as needed, but sometimes you have to ask for more lotion.

The Royal Dutch Hand Lotion that they had in the cabin on my previous cruise on the Oosterdam is wonderful.

We love the Royal Dutch shampoo and soaps much better than the experiment Elemis stuff we had on the Zuiderdam.

I use shower gel,,, can I get it in the shop onboard... Been awhile between HAL cruises .:rolleyes:

If I were you, I would bring my own. Whatever they carry in the shops re. toiletries are quite expensive............jean :cool:

I'll probably bring a small stash to supplement what's in the stateroom.

On all of our recent cruises you were not able to buy shower gel on the ships. I found the Zuiderdam to have the least amount of toiletries available - no hairspray and a couple of other items.

The only time we got the shower gel recently was during the experimental run of the Elemis products on the Zuiderdam.

I have to agree that the Royal Dutch hand lotion is great. I just finished my last bottle and am looking forward to some more in September.

We all seem to like the Royal Dutch lotion. That's why it's not replenished as readily as the other toiletries. Some people like to stock up! ;)

Now, I'll take home an open bottle, but there are others out there who....:eek:
