fireyankee24 Posted May 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Thinking of a cruise out of NYC on Carnival. We would be leaving on a Sunday. My thought would be a cheap parking lot near EWR and catching the train to Penn Station and then catching a cab?? How much do you think i would be spending. This is not until Sept. But its kinda of time critical need to make a decision quickly on this. THanks for whoever answers me. Have a good day.

138east Posted May 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2013 If you decide to drive, then you can book a park/sleep for the night before the cruise and leave your car in the hotel parking lot instead of the airport parking lot. Do you have and exact date you would need a hotel room? You have several less expensive ways to get to NY - train and airport bus plus a cab to the pier are good options. It depends how much you can and want to roll your luggage. Figure $25-28 round trip by train or bus plus $10-15 each way to and from the pier. The least expensive park/sleep we recommend is $117 incl tax, but it could be higher depending on your date.
fireyankee24 Posted May 23, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted May 23, 2013 It would be Sept 22nd. What is the Hotel and where is it at? That might work.
138east Posted May 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2013 The budget choice is the Ramada Plaza at Newark Airport on trinityreservations.com for $117. The popular choice is Country Inns For $167 on stay123.com.
