Airport to Port

What's the distance from the airport to port and what's the cheapest way to do it?

Cheapest would be Aerobus to Pl Catalunya (6 Euro p/p) then perhaps a cab to the port (approx 10Euro if I remeber correctly).

 

Cab direct to the Port is not too bad, about 40Euro for 2 people.

Is the price of the cab based on the number of people? I.E. would a single be less than 40 Euro for the same trip? Or is the price based on a combination of distance/time, as in the US? Or some other method?

Is there an extra charge for luggage?

It is metered and does have charges for luggage. This past April, from the port to the airport, we were charged 38+ euros. The meter actually said 29+ euros but with the extra charges, the total was 38+. Of course we don't speak the language so didn't understand what it all was, so just paid it.

 

We were 2 pp with 4 pieces of luggage - 2 checked size ones and 2 carryons.
