DMLyons Posted June 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I am sorry I can not find the answer can you copy it for me.... It's been answered many times, but the general consensus is that it may be offered or may not, depending on the cruise. Some people have had it offered for first night in a specialty. Some people have had it offered for early dining in a specialty (5-6 pm or so). Some have done both of those things and not had it offered at all. So, you might see it or might not, but don't count on it and be pleasantly surprised if it does get offered. :( DML
sdmike Posted June 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2013 it varies by ship and trip, but you're most likely to find this on the first night, in a specialty restaurant, with 5:30 seating. It won't require a coupon if they do it.
garycarla Posted June 11, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Yes, these offers pop up from time to time. For our future cruise, I just looked at Dining options and this came up: Note: Bundle Cagney's Steakhouse, Le Bistro and La Cucina for an exclusive online cover charge.* Plus, when you purchase the bundle and make one of the reservations on embarkation night, you will receive a free bottle of house wine. It was posted on face book. If any one has the link I would love it.... Thanks this varies from time to time and cruise to cruise. Sometimes it is offered on the first night, sometimes there is a coupon if you eat in a particular specialty dining room you get a discount on another specialty DR and a bottle of wine. there is no cut and dry answer, unfortunately. SuiteCruiser Posted June 18, 2013 #15 Share Posted June 18, 2013 I think they are confused between the trio offer (3 restaurants) and think it is for 3 people.
asda Posted June 19, 2013 #16 Share Posted June 19, 2013 We need ASDA to come explain their comment. Meanwhile, we are all swimming in a sea of confusion. Hi. I rang ncl about the trio resteraunt package (where you book the three resteraunts at $57 cagneys,Italian.french.) and I asked about the bottle of free house wine you receive if you book cagneys on the first night of your cruise. The lady said you will only get the free bottle of wine if there are 4 or more of you dining . And with there only being 2 of you ,sorry you won't get one. asda Posted June 19, 2013 #17 Share Posted June 19, 2013 I think they are confused between the trio offer (3 restaurants) and think it is for 3 people. Hi. I'm not confused I don't think the trio offer is for 3people. it says on the terms and conditions for that offer. Pre book the trio resteraunt offer and you will receive a free bottle of house wine when there 4or more dining on the first evening on board. If there's 5 to 8 of you you will receive 2 bottles. But because there only 2of us we won't receive one, I rang ncl in the uk and she confirmed it. I do know that there are daily flyers that offer a free bottle of wine per 2guest if you dine early in one of the specialist resteraunts 5.30-6.

I just logged on and went WAY down into small print: Here is what it says when you book it: "Note: Bundle Cagney's Steakhouse, Le Bistro and La Cucina for an exclusive online cover charge.* Plus, when you purchase the bundle and make one of the reservations on embarkation night, you will receive a free bottle of house wine." Pretty clear here - book it and get wine. BUT, if you go way down into the TERMS and CONDITIONS, you find this confusing statement. It does NOT clarify what happens if only 1,2 or 3 people are in the reservation. Since the vast majority of folks will be two people, then????? "The Signature Trio package is only available online, and does not apply to group dining requests with party sizes larger than eight guests. The Signature Trio package inclusive of a bottle of house wine for a reservation on embarkation evening is only available online. Onboard reservation changes will not qualify for the bottle of wine. One bottle of house red or white wine per 4 guests. A party of 5-8 guests will receive 2 bottles of house red or white wine."

I have just done exactly as you.........read right way down into the small print and found it VERY unclear!! I think it's also unclear at NCL as when I rang to query it, I was told I WOULD get free wine.....and there's only two of us!!

Apsalar Posted June 20, 2013 #24 Share Posted June 20, 2013 Hi. I emailed them after ringing them to check and still got the answer one bottle of wine per 4 guest. She did apploguise that 2 people would not get one. Wow, really? It looks to me from the small print that _up to_ 4 guests would receive 1 free bottle of wine, while 5-8 guests would receive 2 (it specifically says no groups larger than 8 can get this package). "One bottle of house red or white wine per 4 guests." I don't really get the impression from the way it's written that you need a minimum of 4 people to get the wine. It looks like it's a good deal just for the 3 specialty restaurants. If you are a group of 2, and want to have this, I suggest you go ahead and book it and reserve one restaurant for embarkation day. Then print out both the page with the promo, and the small print, and if they balk on providing a bottle of wine, say the fine print is very unclear but seems to indicate you are entitled to a bottle of wine and see if they'll do the right thing. I didn't get that impression either, so I rang NCL again and spoke to a different staff member. I was still given the same answer as my previous call......of course 2 people will receive a free bottle of wine. 4 guests would receive 1 bottle as well, whilst 5-8 guests would receive 2 bottles.......just as you thought Apsalar :)
