Shuttling in Stockholm

As with all Oceania shuttles it is a surprise until you arrive

This has been discussed many many times but still they keep it a secret as to which port they provide shuttles in

Some ports the Port Authority may provide shuttles but then again unless someone reports about it you will not know

Sorry for the rant to your simple question:o

Even if there is a shuttle you might find its schedule doesn't fit yours, or it doesn't drop you where you want to go... in Stockholm there is the Tunnelbana - underground/metro whatever you want to call it. It is easy and cheap to use. And in many times in Stockholm I have yet to meet a Swede who doesn't speak English!!

We took the city bus. Follow the blue line around the building and then follow the line to the right towards the big building. On your left you will see an info booth and the ticket seller. The bus stop is there. Or take a taxi - look at the price on the side of the cab first - it is unregulated, or at least, the minimum price is not stipulated. You are not obliged to take the first in the taxi rank.

There are 3 places you can get a cab at the port of Stockholm. The official line right in front of the ship. Second: If you follow the blue line to the street, you may be able to hail one. (We saw someone get one immediately.) Third is across the street parked parallel to the ship, there is another rank of taxis.
