brinvic Posted June 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Could someone tell me what deck the laundry facilities are on? Not sure if we'll use them or just have them sent out. Thanks for any help. Also, do you ever skip a port and just stay on the ship and enjoy? Thinking that when we are in Belize of making it a spa day and relax - would like others thoughts on the days the stayed on the ship
K&P Luv2Cruise Posted June 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Could someone tell me what deck the laundry facilities are on? Not sure if we'll use them or just have them sent out. Thanks for any help. Also, do you ever skip a port and just stay on the ship and enjoy? Thinking that when we are in Belize of making it a spa day and relax - would like others thoughts on the days the stayed on the ship On the Miracle (sister ship), they are Deck 1 Midship (behind Starboard side elevators), Deck 4 Aft (across from 4232), Deck 7 Midship (across from 7267), and I believe there were some on Deck 6 forward (near Camp Carnival), but we could never find those :o. Wash is $3.00 and dry is $3.00 - you can get quarters from the change machines in the Casino, so you don't have to bring them on-board with you. Might be a good idea to use "pods" such as Tide etc (they pack well and work well too). Hope this helps
Rare jimbo5544 Posted June 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2013 We have stayed in the ship several times in Belize. If you are not doing a Carnival excursion in Belize, then I would recommend staying on the ship. The previous posters locations for the Miracle are the same on the Legend. Enjoy your cruise. Cardex Posted June 12, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Wash is $3.00 and dry is $3.00 - you can get quarters from the change machines in the Casino, so you don't have to bring them on-board with you. Just off the Legend and you pay with your sail and sign card so you won't need quarters. Also the laundry soap and fabric softener are $1.00 each. brinvic Posted June 13, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Thanks for the info! The new pods are a great idea - can't wait for November but want to enjoy my summer first!
marshhawk Posted June 13, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Glad to see that they went down on the price of the detergent, and that you can put the laundry on your sale and sign card. Last time I was on the Legend, it was 3 $ for detergent , 3 for wash, and 3 for dry, and if the load was large, it was 6 to dry. So to save, we always take those laundry sheets, wash and soften. :)
