Rare LHT28 Posted August 19, 2013 #26 Share Posted August 19, 2013 We are looking at a river cruise. So is the "hot tub" a warm thing or like pool water? How deep? It is a small pool about maybe 2 ft deep by the looks of it We did not use it so cannot say how warm it was It would be good for cooling off on a hot day
Gingee Posted August 19, 2013 #27 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Thanks. The river cruises seem so expensive so we are just checking it out right now.
eleanordew Posted September 19, 2013 #28 Share Posted September 19, 2013 I was on the Aug. 15th cruise from Cincinnati to St. Louis. Luckily, the 24-hour popcorn machine has not disappeared from the Front Porch. The ice cream and soda machines are open too. I found it a very relaxing cruise, and spent a lot of my time reading in the rocking chairs. One thing I do think they need is a Scrabble set, and I suggested it to the entertainment director. Also more light in the Gentlemen's Card Room so I don't need my flashlight to put together a puzzle! :D
Hydrokitty Posted October 5, 2013 #29 Share Posted October 5, 2013 You may want to read my blog posts, so you can see photos and learn some tips about the boat: www.ElaineiaKsTravels.wordpress.com And, check out my photos at: www.ExquisiteCards.Fototime.com . There are more photos there than what appear on the blog. I agree about the cookies; definitely budget calories for some of those! Elaine: Just looked at your Memphis to New Orleans pictures....BEAUTIFUL especially the cemetery pictures....I was most interested in the section on the ship and you should be on their payroll!! I am awaiting their brochure but I see this same trip in my very near future!! Thank you!!:D
