Is concierge in room dining different from normal in room dining?

Just wondering, could upgrade for $300 for 3 of us to concierge but don't know if its worth it.

No difference from in room dining for all other cabins. The meal is served all at once.

Room service dinner to a concierge class room comes on a tray. There isn't a dinner table in the cabin to set up. You will have the knee high table on the balcony and the cocktail-type table in the room. The style you mentioned with the white table cloth served in courses is more for suites with butler service.

With that said, nothing can beat eating on your balcony watching the water. Outstanding!!

Actually, we book concierge and the balcony has a standard height table. That's supposed to be one of the differences between a regular balcony and concierge. and Yes, it is awesome to eat either breakfast or dinner looking at the sea. I say, pay the money. The breakfast room service has an expanded menu for Concierge.

No, they don't do that.

Nor can you order from the specialty restaurants as room seevice

That is too bad. My boyfriend has an anxiety disorder so sometimes eating in restaurants is too much for him. I was hoping we would be able to enjoy our AQ meals in the room if he is having a tough day. Oh well.

 On which ship was that?

What cabin number?

Please let the rest of us know where you saw it so we can avoid it.

When we have seen a small, knee high table on a concierge balcony, it was there in addition to the standard dining height table.

Well, you CAN order off the MDR menu or room service--so all is not lost.

What ship? In general, an upgrade to CC on M class ships is worthwhile because the rooms are larger; in S class, really not worth much at all, certainly not $300 IMO.

There are more items on the room service breakfast menu in CC, but you can actually get anything you like by just writing it in in a standard balcony cabin.

Our last trip on Equinox we had a small regular height table so dining was comfortable. We even brought it inside to eat on cooler evenings. We asked our steward for a table cloth and he obliged. He got a nice tip too. The meal is brought all at once. Full in room dining is a big reason we sail Celebrity.
