Full Moon At Sea......

I took a few photos, too, but they were not very exciting, as the moon kept hiding behind some light cloud, so all you saw was a big glow. So I won't post any.... Sorry. The ones that have been posted look amazing, though! :)

These pictures are great, thank you! "Our" moon peeked in and out of the clouds, but when we could see it, it was spectacular!

Up early this morning at the farm up in the Cumberland Mountains. Coffee out on the bluff. It was magnificent and the atmosphere gave it a beautiful pale pink color. It was almost down to the horizon before daylight faded it away.

 

Sadly, no camera.

We cruised into San Diego during a full moon...it was beautiful.....

No view of the moon for us tonight....rainy and cloudy in Oregon.....

You guys are so lucky! We had a perfect setting last night at our campsite- no lights, no cities, a campfire, a deer crossing the river next to us.....and no moon. Too many clouds, in fact completely overcast.

For once we actually had 3 nights of clear skies and could actually view the Supermoon all 3 nights.

I didn't bother to take any more pictures.

OMG we are neighbors and I am also watching the Moon in Fort Smith . How Funny .

 

DW and I grew up in Fort Smith. Both grads of NHS.

The supermoon could not be seen until about 9:30 last night.

 

I took a picture of it this morning at 5 AM -- did not look any bigger than other moonlit nights here outside of Pittsburgh.

 

 

 

 

It's wonderful you captured the gorgeous orange color. It was bright, vivid orange when low in the sky. As it got higher, it faded to much more white but was a beautiful view.
