FFTF great option for Carnival cruisers!

I'm currently solo on the Elation awaiting sailing. For this cruise I opt to purchase the "fast to fun" option. This have special check in, priority boarding, access to cabin right away, and other perks.

I loved the fact that right after two wedding parties and the suite guest,we were on biard. Went right to the cabin and luggage is there! Nice not lugging my carry on around, having a choice of tables,no lines in the Lido and able to head back to cabin while others wait.

It's a fee of $49, but worth it! Will purchase again when sailing

Hi all!

I too purchased it on my Dream cruise, solo in April. My bags didn't come that quick but it was so nice to go to the cabin early & especially nice to go to the special guest service line when I had a question. I think it's worth the money.

So the $49 for FTTF is to board early (after wedding and platinum) and be able to go straight to your room? I don't see the value. What am I missing?

I usually arrive around 11AM and walk thru security, registration desk, pic for sign and sail, welcome aboard pics and then I'm on board by 11:45-12PM. I board, find the food, eat, take some pics and by this time head to my room. It's not a good deal for me.

The main value for me is being able to offload my carryon luggage asap. I'm not known for packing light :o so when I started thinking about how I won't have anyone with me to tagteam watching luggage during potty breaks, buffet runs or anything else, I bit the bullet. Getting actually into the cabin early, and luggage possibly showing up early, are just perks...getting a carry on, laptop, purse and maybe a camera bag off my shoulders, and a DOD in my hand, the minute I walk on the ship is worth $49 to me! :D

Just off the Elation and felt that the FFTF was well worth the price.

I got to the port around 10:50 a.m. There was a separate security line with no waiting for FFTF. The same when checking in, escorted right to a clerk to check in and escorted to priority boarding area. It took less than 10 minutes from getting off the esclator to my seat.

When boarding, I was among the first 20 to board (after the wedding party). Told my room was ready for my use. My luggage was in the room! I could unpack, or relax. I decided to head for lunch, check my dining and come back.

It was nice being one of the first in the dining room and having a choice of seating without finding seating.

Went to dining room and while didn't change, I was called the next day offering the chance to change.

I was unpack and in Senerity relaxing while others were heading to their cabins.

If I needed to go to guest services, a special line with often no other person and able to be waited on right away.

I was called again during the cruise and asked how was the cruise and was there anything needed

When leaving the ship,a lounge was set aside for us and we were escorted to leave the boat.

Would I purchase this option again? Yes.

Yes I would had got on likey early, but hate as a solo trying to find a table to eat or leaving my carry on bag at the table.

Wonderful! Thanks so much for coming back to post. What time was the MDR open so that you could talk to the maitre d about dining? I am thinking about changing my dining time as well.

We had a bit of a delayed boarding today on Victory. Boarding started a little after 12pm and the terminal was already getting packed. I was so happy to board right away! Also- due to the coast guard inspection guests left the ship later; it has effected the cabins being ready. I was shocked at how many cabins still needed to be cleaned when I boarded. My cabin was ready/ but my luggage is still not there. Which is not surprising considering the delays.

I was also able to change my dining time and was told I could change it back to any time dining tomorrow if wanted to because the FTTF pass allows priority reservations in the MDR. This is the first I have heard of for this perk.

I think FTTF is not worth the price. I am platinum on carnival so I get the priority embarkation/debarkation too and I have to say my baggage doesn't get to my cabin super speedy. Not noticeably from non-platinum. FTTF doesn't get gifts, pins, laundry, parties, etc. like platinum. They just get to go to the head of the line for a few things, but I didn't think that was such a big deal. The things of value for me are the gifts, pins, free laundry, party and the priority tendering.

I agree that if you are a platinum on Carnival the FTTF is not worth the extra cost because you are getting alot of items. However the majority of us are not at that level (I'm close but won't make it for a while). It's a good option for those who are not.
