I live in the Highlands and I have had look at the website, not sure where they are based. Many taxi companies in this area offer tailored tours. I assume you are coming into Invergordon. Search for taxi companies in Invergordon, Dingwall and Inverness and send them an email, you can then choose between them all including Highland Hame tours. If you need any advice on the area I will be glad to help. I love living in the Highlands it’s beautiful , all we need is some more sunshine! Hence when I cruise we always head for sunshine!

You are very kind. We have been working out an itenery with Andrew macdonald of hame tours. Hoping we can trust in him. He is registered with visit Scotland but they have no reviews.

Any suggestions on what " not to miss"?

I would appreciate a suggestion for lunch.

We are looking forward to our trip and tour hoping that all works out and that Mother Nature is good to us.

Hi....have a look at the index for Ports, then click onto the British Isles. There's usually questions on there about tours from Scottish ports.

As you can imagine, not many of us on this UK forum actually cruise round the BI- although I have, and it remains one of our favourite cruises. The experts, however, are on the Ports forum. :)

Just wanted to let everyone know that we decided to go with Hame tours. It was a great decision!!! Andrew was very informative and gave us memories we will cherish always. If traveling to the Highlands look up Hmae tours because you will not regret it.
