Sunny AZ Girl Posted July 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2013 I was just wondering what kind of shopping we can expect to find near the pier? We have a tour that will take up much of the day, but would love to poke around a few shops before returning to the ship. I am especially interested in local handcrafts. Aplmac Posted July 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2013 . You'll find lots off souvenir shopping right there in the Bridgetown Port's cruise terminal building where many local stores have Duty Free outlets! Suggest you save your shopping time for after your island tour, so you don't have to lug your purchases all over! Do it when you're returning to the ship in the afternoon. There's even a bar! :D . jerrib Posted July 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2013 We will be there on a Sunday. I've read somewhere that the shops in town will be closed. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

What time of year will you be here? In November, December and January our shops are usually open for Sunday business, but then there are often several ships in town and it's $$$-$ea$on! . DSXM Posted July 16, 2013 #8 Share Posted July 16, 2013 The poster who put up the pictures has it right. There are shops in the cruise terminal. Many of them are the same things you will see at most other islands and terminals.
