There is an active thread on the NCL board listing who is on each ship. This is the roll call board for specific sailings.

There are several butlers onboard. It would be impossible for one butler to cover all the suites.

On my last cruise, Jennifer was my butler, and Virginia was my consierge. Both of them were wonderful.

I really don't care if I see the concierge as long as she answers her hip phone and takes care of our requests. I cruised with Virginia last Fall on the Dawn.

She was wonderful. I know my butler will be Roel in August.

I know Roel is on the Dawn and he is my ALL TIME favorite butler. He's such a wonderful person.

great to know we are sailing in Aug and can not wait, our service was so so last year our cabin steward was amazing....

 

Our best butler/concierge was Bruce.....omg we laughed the entire trip...my husband still talk about him

Hi All, We have a ways to go but I'm hoping for Virginia as I have heard very good things about her. Though I would hope they are all nice. We are in a 2 bedroom family suite because we are taking our Aunt for her 92 birthday. She is great and never needs much help still lives alone and even takes all her friends to church and appointments, but we have noticed she gets tired if standing for long periods of time. Wanted the suite for 2 reasons, she is a private person and the priorty on and off the ship. We were on the Gem in May and experienced our first suite. In a word WONDERFUL, though I know we never asked for much (almost nothing) we loved the easy on and off of the ship.

Can we accually find out who will be assigned to us? Just curious.

Next June we'll get to experience the "suite life" for the first time in a two-bedroom family suite with balcony. What services do the butler and concierge provide? What amenities do suite passengers receive that you don't get in a standard balcony cabin?

Theres many lists posted on the treats... You get 3 bottle of alcohol, treats served in your room nightly, they will make any reservations for you, some ships have priority seating for the shows....You can have breakfast and lunch at Cagneys...you get escorted to your room and first off the ship... priority check in...

 

There so much... we like the room of the suites... and spend time there...I love the big bathrooms...

 

I know theres more..we use them very little....

I was on the Dawn 2 weeks ago with Virginia. She told me she is leaving in October for vacation and then will join the Jewel in January.

 

I had Maurice for my Butler...he was FANTASTIC!!!

Roel was the butler for my friend's suite, and they said that he was great.

 

They were just a few doors down from me, and some of their staff was different from mine.

 

However, Virginia was their concierge as well. When she leaves the Dawn, she will be missed.

They will deliver meals and snacks to your suite. When I had a horrible cold, Jennifer made tea for me.

Virginia was our concierge on NCL Sun and has been since for ten cruises in a row .:D
