Japan. Toyama to Kanazawa.

Does anyone have any ideas about getting to Kanazawa from Toyama? RCI has a half day tour but we would like to spend more time there. No response from them concerning private tours/car.

hmm. I have little experience with that coast. I see the Hokuriku Expressway, and the JR line (train)by the same name.

 

I'd start there.

Kanazawa to Toyama is about 25 minutes via, car, taxi, bus, or train - all of which are available.

If you spend 15 minutes searching this out on Google, you will be an expert on the subject.

Having spent considerable time on google, researching in the lonely planet guide to Japan, the Michelin Green guide to Japan and the Japanese tourist bureau here in Australia I have noticed that being in different prefectures means that access to real information concerning this route is not readily available. I was however hoping that there was someone on this board who had actually DONE it and would have some advice.
