Grandeur Internet Access

Does anyone know if there is wireless access or what type of internet connection they offer.

We were on the Granduer during Christmas and only one word can describe the type of internet access provided....SLOW!

I just came back from the Explorer and they now have Wi Fi hot spots on the ship. If you bring your laptop with wireless capability, you can buy minutes from several different plans. The speed was pretty good. The cost was in the low $.30's per minute compared to $.50 a minute in the cyber cafe.

The internet access was THE SLOWEST I have ever encountered on a ship. Damn, I think it was even slower than when I had dial-up! I'm not kidding....and all I was doing was e-mail. Sailed on it October 2004 during playoffs and world series!!!

We were on the Grandeur in Feb. and there was no computer access in the cabins. The computers were slow, but of course we are used to cable modem access at home and was very spoiled. All we did was check out e-mail.
