Rhayne Posted July 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2013 I try to search for answers before posting questions but sometimes i can't find stuff. 1. Are woman allowed to wear tank tops (like the one in my picture) with skirts in the MDR for dinner? I know on the Celebrity website it says no tanktops but I assumed it meant men only. If women can't wear tanktops in the MDR for dinner, can we wear a flyaway or light cardigan on top? 2. Has anyone ever brought there own case of soda onboard? We bought a case of pepsi that comes in 12 ounce bottles and would like to bring them with. It's still shrinkwrapped and we don't plan on taking them out of the wrapping. (We're pepsi drinkers and will not drink coke)
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2013 You will be fine with a top like that, but you will probably want to have a shawl or light sweater -- you never know if the temperature in the MDR will be cool or not, same with the other bars and restaurants and casino Yes, you can bring your own soft drinks. justcrusn Posted July 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2013 may or may not get looked at really closely when you embark. Last cruise I had a carry on suitcase with a swimsuit, two bottles of champagne, and a 24 pack of sodas. They hand inspected them closely but allowed everything on. That's the first time I have ever even had them open the suitcase, so I must have looked like a spring breaker! LOL

FloatSomeMore Posted July 19, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Yes and yes! We have brought our own case of water on - no problems. As to clothes, you will see a little bit of everything. What you have shown will be fine.
Rare MicCanberra Posted July 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Agree with the above posts. As with ladies tank tops, a cardigan/shawl will be a good idea, my wife is always chilled in the MDR.:D
