Mowiteem Posted July 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2013 What do I need to know about the youth program: How do I sign up? Do I just drop him off at the play room? What are the hours? Does he have the same councillor all the time? Vicki.... Proud to be a Jersey Girl
cb at sea Posted July 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2013 There will be a orientation the 1st night....that's when all the kids get "to know" each other, so do that! You can sign up then. Yes....you will drop off and pick up at that age. There will be a children's compass, with each day's activities, so you'll know what you want to do, and at what time. You should have the same counselors ...there is more than 1!
Onessa Posted July 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2013 Also when you are registering to board the ship, representatives from the kid's program will be there to answer your questions (and to put on a wristband with your son's muster station). They will be able to tell you exactly where the kid's club meeting is and when. Hours will vary a bit -- different when you are in port vs at sea. The councelors are assigned by age group, so while there will be several, there always will be pretty much the same ones. Every evening, your room steward will leave your son a compass (schedule) for the next day's activities kids program the same way as you get one for the general activities. RSLeesburg Posted July 23, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2013 When are you sailing? We are bringing our son (4) on the Grandeur in late Sept, and are dying to hear how the kid's club is. Most of the people traveling lately have no children. So, if you are sailing sooner than us, please come back on and post some details about it :) Thanks PS: you can also warn them that our son is coming :D

RSLeesburg Posted July 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2013 I think one poster on the RCI forum just returned and her two children loved the AO on the Grandeur.
maureencruiser Posted July 31, 2013 #8 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Here is info from last week's Enchantment cruise - she is Grandeur's sister- so activities should be pretty similar - stolen from MrFun in the Sun's review.
