GEM: Docking in San Juan and St. Thomas

Does it dock in Old San Juan in front of the yellow Sheraton? (as opposed to Pan Am pier across the waterway)

 

Also, does it always use Crown Bay in St Thomas?

I was on the 9 day Gem cruise and we dock right downtown OSJ and at Havensight Pier STT.

Our cruise in March of this year docked Old San Juan but at Crown Bay in St. Thomas (happily, they have built up the pier area so it was OK for us to roam around for a bit there).

How many ships were in St. Thomas with you? We were on Celebrity in March with one other RC ship at Havensight, and we saw Gem go to Crown Bay. Not my favorite place to dock.

On our 9 night in January, we tendered into St.Thomas bc there were SO MANY ships in port, including Epic. That was a first for me, despite having called on St. Thomas many, many times throughout the years.
