Hotels and restaurants pre and post Baltic cruise

Would love to hear reports from folks who've stayed in Copenhagan and Stockholm for a few days. Rants and raves (hopefully the latter) on particular hotels and restaurants would be great. Thanks!

I've stayed here while visiting Stockholm. It was not pre or post cruise, just a stay. It is VERY centrally located. Wonderful breakfast that can be included in the price, or paid for seperately. It is a scandinavian buffet breakfast, not a continental breakfast. After having it, skip lunch and have a nice dinner. It is on the same peninsula as the Grand hotel, but on the opposite side. The peninsula is very small, so Radisson's back almost butts up against Grand's back. Grand faces the castle and old town (across the bridge), Radisson faces the other side. It is a 10 min. slow walk to Gamla Stan. Rooms are small, and it is not extravagant, but I like the location.
