Room service...I always intend to try it but am to stuffed when I get back to the room....lol:rolleyes:;):o:p

Did that for the first time last week.

Next cruise I would like to do an excurision that included horse back riding on the beach. It just looks so cool in a picture!:p

I am loving this thread!!!!! :p I'm getting ideas for things that I've realized I haven't done and want to do. I'll be in my first inside cabin. :)

I would like to (in no particular order):

- Have afternoon tea

- Try a DOD besides the Funship Special (I am not a big drinker since I'm a lightweight, but they look so tasty)

- Splurge on an onboard massage on a port day or embarkation day

- Swim with dolphins (I have this booked for this December but have just scheduled foot surgery for Nov. 21, so I might have to cancel, in which case I'll do it Dec. 2014!)

- Zipline, Parasail, and Cavetube (I like how another poster phrased these- "adventurous excursions")

- Convince my DH to try snorkeling

- See a comedy show

- Have a sea day brunch in the MDR

- Get in one of the pools! :) I've never managed to get in one of the pools in any of my cruises (and only once into the hottub).

- Try room service

- Try one of the fancy coffees/ cakes at the little cafe

Stay up really late - I usually get tired by midnight or so after a long fun filled day

Oh yes! This too! DH and I always get so sleepy after eating at the late seating in the MDR and we're in bed by midnight, sadly.

The one thing I've never done that I will be doing on my next cruise is to stay out of the casino. :)

LOL. Too funny

Watch out for the floaters. LOL I did it twice; once in Jamaica and 3 months later in Half Moon Cay

Four of us in our 40s going next week and none of us have ever been on the waterslide. I told them all it's MANDATORY this time! :D

Yessss...me too! I'm not in my 40's but still..this needs to get on my list. I can't believe I've never been on the water slides. It looks fun!

My only REAL cruise was so perfect that I don't really want to do anything differently :p I guess, if any changes are made, I'll stay up late the first night and explore the ship so I know where everything is through the rest of the cruise. I found that we missed a few parts of the ship and wished we had explored all at one time rather than a little here, a little there, throughout the cruise.

I have a list lol:

Martini tasting

Taste Bar

Mongolian Wok

Order room service (multiple times)

Tea time

Comedy show

Piano Bar

FTTF

Ping pong

Any time dining

My next cruise in 18 days is going to be a "Surprise" to my daughter, son in law and 4 grandkids. They have no idea that I am flying to Jacksonville from Ca and joining them on this cruise. They think I'm going to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday. It's been very tough not to spill the beans!

For our upcoming cruise, it will be our first time to:

Try FTTF

Go to Key West

Go to the Nassau & Freeport (even though a lot of cruisers don't like these ports, we gotta try them at least once)

Onboard firsts I'd like to do:

Eat lunch in the MDR

Get in the pool

Have a dessert from the specialty shop

Try Bitter n' Blanc

Tea Time, I swear, one of these days I'm going to get there!

We just booked the Victory in February and there are plenty of firsts for me. This is my first 5 day cruise. Also sailing out of Miami for the first time. Also, cruising without my son for the first time (well, first vacation without him in 19 years). Cruising for the first time with my BFF. I will endeavor to order something aside from chocolate melting cake for dessert (no promises!).

And, I will go to a port just once and wing it. We are planning nothing for Grand Turk, just going to go with the flow!

Loving this thread...taking notes on all the things I need to try.

This is only my second cruise, so there are a lot of firsts I need to try...but most importantly (of any vacation, ever), I'm NOT TAKING ANY WORK WITH ME. Not even checking my email. This should be interesting.

I never do that, don't check my email, don't check my phone, never, never, never! My family has the emergency number to the ship should a life or death emergency happen. Otherwise, I cut myself off :D
