Best excursion or beach for first time snorklers

My adult children gave never snorkked. They are average swimmers. Not much experience in ocean waters. What would be the best excursion or beach for them to try thus out?

Tobacco Bay for novice snorkelers. Take the ferry from where your ship docks to St. Georges. About a 1 mile walk to beach up and over hill or take cab.

I agree that Tobacco Bay is the best snorkeling. Go there at least once. However, getting there and back takes up at least 2+ hours of your day.

 

I enjoyed snorkeling even at Horseshoe Bay. There are plenty of rock formation and things to keep novice snorkelers happy at many of the beaches.

Take the Rising Son II catamaran tour right outside of the ship. Its about 4.5 hrs and includes a stop to a secluded snorkel spot inside the bay with calm, clear water and plenty of instruction. On the way back to the ship, unlimited rum swizzle! Cost me around $50/pp when we went 2 yrs ago.
