Just home today from this cruise so here is a short review:

Overall a very nice 7 days, even left the casino with more $$$ than we began:)

The ship is no spring chicken but is still nice. Carpets, etc could use an upgrade but the crew keeps her very clean. The new Master, Theodoros Zakkas is vey personable, visible and approachable and also has a nice sense of humor. Not sure if he set the tone but all of the officer staff was visible and friendly. Hand shaking was encouraged!

We did like the smaller portions and the healthy options for dinner. We always felt that Celebrity did a great job with beef and not so great with fish. Happy to say that the quality of the fish meals is greatly improving. Thay still have a way to go but the improvement is clear. Our waiter was terrible. Our first really unattentive waiter in over 10 years. No description of the food or recommendations and no alerting of the upcoming activities like the brunch buffet. Entertainment is also improving. The illisionist was excellent as was the "Studio 54" performer. Our room stward, Syndey, and his assistant were outstanding. The afternoon Elite CC reception was very nice and the fellow Elite members and their families were a blast. The first reception had many tables of two and 3 but the last night was really one or two large groups. The only complaint is the venue. Micheal's club is small and dark. Move this thing up to the nice bright Reflections lounge so we can look at the water. The itinerary was nice. It was sad to see St. Goerge becoming almost empty as well as the decrease in the shops in Hamilton due to the lack of small ships calling on those ports. The Swizzle in is still great! In summary, great cruise on a nice ship to a nice location and surrounded by an excellent crew and fellow passengers. Glad I booked this on a whim at the last minute.

Now, how do we manage the next 8 months until our next cruise.

Thanks you for your review! Glad that you had a nice time. We board the Summit next Sunday. Am hoping that the Elite cocktail hour is in reflection and not Michaels. We are not Elite yet (next trip we will be :)), and DH loved the Craft Beers.

It really depends on how many Elite's are on board. I sailed her on

August 4th and it was held in Michael's.

Hope you have a wonderful cruise thought:D
