Car rental Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal

Hi. Does anyone know where the car rental places are close to the cruise terminal and do they have shuttles from the port or would it be a taxi? We haven't disembarked here before, but landing after a transatlantic cruise this time. Many thanks.

The car rental places are mostly in very close proximity of the airport and the port and most of them offer complimentary shuttles to and from port and also to and from airport

so you should not need a taxi.
