Explore4 beverage card OBC?

A couple years ago we had a $100 soda card and didn't use it. We ended up getting $50 OBC for it. If you don't use the Beverage card, will it be worth $100 OBC?

Without knowing for sure, I'm going to guess no. You may have bought the soda card and not used it (because you bought two) or gotten it from your travel agent? Anything someone gave HAL money for should get you OBC at the end of the cruise but anything that is a "gift" from the cruise line would not have a cash value.

It is a gift from HAL -- a special promotion that will end soon.

You have a choice of using it or losing it.

From the Explore4 fine print, it appears that there is no refund/OBC for unused beverage cards received thru this promo:

 

"The Beverage Card may be used to purchase beverages or other eligible items at payment terminals aboard the ship. No balance may be carried on the Beverage Card after the end of the cruise. Unused portion of card will not be refunded at the end of the cruise. This card cannot be redeemed for cash and is not replaceable if lost or stolen."
