Pellaz Posted August 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Other than the MDR and Buffet, what else does the Victory have? Is there a grill with burgers, or a BBQ option? I'm sailing on Victory in about 50 days, so this is important to me, too. She should have: -- MDR -- Lido buffet -- 24-hr pizza, aft on Lido (the older style, so there should also be caesar salads and calzones available) -- 24-hr soft-serve ice-cream and frozen yogurt -- Chef's Table -- late-night grill, aft on Lido near the pizza place (burgers and hot-dogs, I think) -- Yangtze Wok. Whatever THAT means. -- 24-hr room service (please tip your waiter) -- A deli open on afternoons only. I think. -- A sushi place. Or possibly the Taste Bar. Carnival's website says Victory now has the Taste Bar ("new!") which would replace the sushi place Anything else, folks? I'm curious to know whether the Taste Bar was recently added. SharkCruiser24 Posted August 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2013 There are grill/burger/BBQ options onboard the Victory. I suggest you head to the aft grill near the aft pool, as the one near the main pool usually gets crowded. They also have 24 hour room service! audreybella Posted August 27, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 27, 2013 My experience with buffets on the Victory were horrible. Super long wait times with super long lines. I hope you have better luck than I do.

I hope you have better luck than I do. Only the inexperienced -or those who cruise to eat-'dine' in the Lido buffet. All around Lido Deck itself are quite a few eating-options! You need to "shop-around" a bit on Lido, to escape the lines! AND then there's the Main Dining Rooms below for those who can order from a menu, and handle a knife and fork. . . Pellaz Posted August 28, 2013 #14 Share Posted August 28, 2013 Cool, so Victory will have the Taste Bar instead of a sushi station. That will displease my sister (who loves sushi) but make me happy (since I don't). Besides, on our Liberty cruise, we saw the Taste Bar but were never quite sure what it was...and it wasn't open a lot, either. Looking forward to trying it this time! Still trying to figure out exactly what the "Yangtze Wok" serves, and when. I'd love it if there was a Mongolian Wok like on Liberty, but alas.....
