Carnival Pulling out of FLL?

Looks like Carnival is going with a different rotation for the Freedom out of Ft. Lauderdale, with a combination of 5 and 8 night itineraries. You can still do 6 nights out of Miami on the Breeze.

Doesn't the Freedom have an extended dry dock then? It must be why no cruises are showing up during OP's search.

Hi, no I'm looking at booking a cruise next year and like the idea of going out of FLL...but after they have the 2 in March on the freedom, it moves to Miami on other ships...same itinerary, different home port. Just curious to know why. I would actually much prefer to go out of FLL.

The only ship Carnival has in Fort Lauderdale right now is the Freedom -- it is going into drydock from March 30th to May 19th, after which it looks like it will operate on a 5, 8, 8 schedule.

The Freedom is in drydock for the month of April.
