Monkeys and Turtles?

We will be in Barbados in October and I am trying to find a land and sea tour that includes swimming with the turtles and seeing the famous green monkeys. My husband also want to see island highlights. I have found one, but it is almost $300 for the two of us and that is a little out of our budget since this is a very port intensive cruise and we have a number of other tours booked. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The turtles are a lot more predictable, easier to see, almost guaranteed, in fact.

Monkeys are a hit or miss thing (in the wild)

although there are one or two places where you might be shown them, in captivity.

They are far from being truly-GREEN

-the name comes from a slight greenish cast, in some lights.

They are Vervets, introduced from West Africa!
