Travel_World Posted September 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2013 I recently cruised on RCL Explorer. The casino is now charging 5% to get cash from your sea pass card. It use to be 3%. The fee is still waived if you are a Casino Royale.

cherylroslyn Posted September 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2013 Much easier to bring the cash you wish to play with! I totally disagree. I'm not walking around with thousands and thousands of dollars in cash while traveling....that is crazy. Celebrity has been charging 5% since last year, but it is waived for Blue Chip, as well. NCL charges 3%, but they do not waive the fee until you get to Golden. For Golden you need 15,000 points on a five dollar to one point ratio. esuer Posted September 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2013 You can contact RCL Casino and ask for a line of credit. There is a form that you can fill out online and they will check with your bank and then if you are approved you will be able to draw a marker in the casino. The casino normally does the credit check about 2 weeks before your cruise date. At the end of the trip you can either pay back the casino (if you are a winner) or you fill out a check to RCL for the amount of your markers. There is no additional charges added to your check payment, just the total amount of the markers that you took on the cruise.
