Wineart Posted September 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Have never been on Coral Princess before, and was just given an "upgrade" from B210 to D606. We're on a Panama Canal cruise, and in reading some cruise critic posts, am concerned that view from the D606 balcony will be obstructed by lifeboats on the deck below. Would appreciate input on these 2 cabins, and whether it was a mistake to accept the change!

We're on a Panama Canal cruise, and in reading some cruise critic posts, am concerned that view from the D606 balcony will be obstructed by lifeboats on the deck below. Would appreciate input on these 2 cabins, and whether it was a mistake to accept the change! Feel that being more mid ship and lower is a better location than way forward and up top. Believe the lifeboat is tucked under your balcony and not in your view area. Advantage of B210 is that it is close to the front corridor door on deck 11 which leads to a nice viewing area for going into the locks. These doors may or may not be open for passengers. I have been through the PC 4 times and found the best views are from the upper open decks, and not from the balcony and not from these "secret" areas such as deck 11. loliola Posted September 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I was in D501 on the Island (sister ship) and loved the location. I think it is a nice upgrade.
