If you let your waiter know, they will bring a complimentary Birthday Cake. I actually got 3 on my cruise. Each time someone mentioned it was my birthday, they brought me a cake.

Once on board tell any waiter it's your birthday. You will get a free cake at that meal. Same goes for many other occasions.

We were on the Jewel a year and a half ago in a suite to surprise my mother on the cruise. I was in a suite and she was not. Told my butler and consigure(sp) We had a cake in our suite and had nother one at

Cagneys for her birthday. She could not have cake but it was her last birthday so it was worth it

Yes you can pre-order a birthday cake. I think you can also pre-order a birthday celebration with decorations too. Check out the NCL website.

About 8"x8" square and about 3" high.

For my last bday cruise, our butler suprised us with this. As you can kind of see, it's about the size of a dinner plate.....
