*My Platinum Review of Carnival Liberty**Eastern with Pics

[SIZE=3]After we watched sail away, we went to change clothes and get ready for dinner. I lost my Fun Times for St. Thomas, but I think this is the night there was no comedy and no show. There was a Mardi Gras party in the atrium and we figured we would check that out after dinner.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Notice that we match:o Well DH always wears a shirt too match whatever I wear when we cruise. Tonight for our anniversary, we both wore a light shade of purple (lilac) which was our wedding colors! We are so mushy!![/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]For starters, Dh had Old fashioned chicken noodle soup. You guys probably could guess I had a caeser salad[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]The bar service guy that came around every night, talked us into some anniversary shots. His name was Made, but we referred to him as "The Shot Doctor" lol[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Okay, so this Mardi Gras party was the funniest party I have ever attended on a ship! Of course they throw beads and give out beads. We came home with about 20 beads between the two of us! The fun patrol and Karl were there and of course they cranked up the line dances. They even sent one of the guys into one of the atrium elevators, to get the people in the elevators dancing.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]The funniest parts were when someone would board an elevator and had no idea the party was going on. Karl would tell everyone to point to that person until they danced. Some of the facial expressions were priceless. There was this one girl that went crazy dancing and she didn't seem to realize that the elevators are clear and she was going up and she had on a dress. Karl tried to scream this to her on the microphone that we could see her unmentionables, but to no avail. Bless her heart:eek: It was sooooooo much fun and the crowd was HUGE! It looked like the entire boat was there.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]At the end of the party, the Liberty band came out and played some Mardi Gras type music and Karl told us to follow them to the Victoria Lounge for a surprise. When we got there, Karl picked some people out of the audience to do a Men vs. Women dance/model contest or something and then they cranked up Superstar Live. Me and Dh decided to live and go to the nightclub. It was a great night and a great anniversary![/SIZE]

I enjoyed the upgrades on the Liberty, but I did miss some of the old stuff like cheese fries lol!

He was very informative and I was so happy that he gave people who didn't want to go to the beach an opportunity to still take pics of the beach! I think one beach day for hubby and I is enough. We will be on the Conquest for our 24th Anniversary. We have already booked the steakhouse for that night (formal night). How do you let them know which night is your Anniversary? They only asked us if we were celebrating our Anniversary. How do they know which day? Did you tell them? BTW, love all your reviews!

The Mardi Gras party was amazing! I love Karl with a K, he made the trip so memorable! December 7 will be here soon! After you cruise, you gotta come back and do a picture review!

Our waitress said to us when we were about to leave "Make sure you sit in my section tomorrow" and we told her Definitely and that the next day was our anniversary. She told us that she would have something special for us.

 

The next day when we came back she said something about it being hubbys' birthday and we told her that it was our anniversary lol. So she remembered we had an event, but she forgot what it was! So just let them know that it's your anniversary. I don't know if they sing in the Steakhouse, but I'm sure they will bring you a piece of cake.
