IPad question

If you download using a wifi connection on board, you will pay about 65 cents per minute. Less if you purchase a wifi package.

If you download using a cellular connection on board, you will pay $3 or more per minute. For that reason, if your iPad is cellular compatible, make sure that you have cellular turned off when on the ship.

It is always wise to download music, books, games when you are home. There are some games which need a wifi connection, but lots that don't.

Music that is already downloaded, can be played onboard.

If you want to download pictures from another camera, Apple has a plug-in device...one end plugs into Ipad, and the other end holds the memory card.

And as Boulders mentioned, if your Ipad is 3G (or whatever they are now), turn that off. Mine is only Wifi.
