cleobella Posted September 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2013 I wonder if anyone has had any experience staying at the Domina Home Ca Zusto? I have tentatively booked this for our 1 night post stay and the reviews are good. However, I am wondering if it will be easy to walk to from the point were the buses stop and I also wonder if it would be better to stay nearer to the pier and then just travel into the tourist area for out last day of sightseeing in Venice? Is the pier near the airport? We have another hotel booked for pre stay (Arrlechino) and had the Antiche booked post stay but had to cut back by a night due to airline itinerary change and so lost that booking. Arrlechino won't do a non refundable and I like to have that ability incase the airline changes the flight itinerary again.
KirkNC Posted September 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Did you check Trip Advisor for reviews?

mapleleaves Posted September 29, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2013 www.venere.com/venice is another site to check reviews. Did you look at the map on the hotel's web site ... that would quite a hike from Piazzale Roma with luggage! http://www.dominahomecazusto.com/en/how-to-get-there If you want to stay near the cruise terminal look at hotels near Piazzale Roma. Use the map feature or the 'how many bridges to cross' list: http://europeforvisitors.com/venice/hotelmaps/marittima.htm
cleobella Posted October 2, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Thanks Mapleleaves. I cancelled and rebooked at the Arlechino instead-it is not so much of a hike from the Piazza Roma
