Mama T Posted October 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Will be sailing on the Carnival Magic soon. Are there any specifics I should know? IE restaurant likes, dislikes , shows, when r the formal nights, etc. Etc.
CruiserBruce Posted October 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Some reading on the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 would be very beneficial. Remember, many of those are very subjective. What you like, I may hate. Putting a relevant title on your next thread will attract answers quicker. Bonnie J. Posted October 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Put your question in the 'title' other wise cruisecritic just put your 'name' in the title. A lot of people won't open a post unless they know the question. Formal night is usually the 2nd night but Carnival is not as formal as it used to be. I have even seen shorts in the dining room on what is now called "cruise elegant night". On 7 nights the 2nd is the night before the last night. When you get to your cabin you will see the 'Fun Times'. This tells you everything that is happening on the ship that day and night. You will find the next day's 'fun times' every night when you get back to your cabin.. then you can plan what you want to do each day and night. There will be a deli on board where they make your sandwich while you wait. It's open from 11 to 11. Pizza is 24 hours as is room service but make sure you have a tip for room service person if you order thru them.
