don24 Posted October 16, 2013 #27 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Does Carnival carry Kraken black rum? I've had that instead of CM sometimes and it's tasty. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app " release the kraken " but seriously I like the kraken and the kraken likes me

jaded99 Posted October 16, 2013 #29 Share Posted October 16, 2013 DH loves Captain Morgan, it's his go-to drink... he liks Bacardi Oak too but doesn't drink it all the time. I know JH said it's not true but with so many people posting that they didn't see the Captain on their cruise recently, I'm wondering! I hope they have BOTH, that would be ideal :D
coops Posted October 16, 2013 #30 Share Posted October 16, 2013 JH just said it wasn't true. I hope not but my friend who is on board was told they aren't carrying it anymore. You can't order it on Bon voyage either. They only have spiced captain Morgan That is what we are talking about is the spiced Captain Morgan. Didnt know there was another kind. Kfoot Posted October 16, 2013 #33 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Well I guess it's the good ole Appleton Estate rum for me. Prefer it over the Captain Morgan any day. As for the Bacardi, I personally don't care for it.

awhcruiser Posted October 17, 2013 #38 Share Posted October 17, 2013 This. Will the OP call every cruise line to see which one carries Captain Morgan? Seriously? You would choose another cruise line solely because they don't carry your brand of rum? RAYMORRA Posted October 17, 2013 #41 Share Posted October 17, 2013 I picked an all inclusive in Mexico based on whether they served Captain Morgan or not. Silver Spiced or Lime Bite are the two white or clear rums they make. oldrailfan Posted October 18, 2013 #50 Share Posted October 18, 2013 So... It sounds like one person went on one cruise on one ship (possibly even to one bar) and was told there was no more Captain Morgan - and Chicken Little was certain the sky was falling!
