Casablanca to Marrakesh

I hear only wonderful things but is it really worth a 4 hour drive each way? And here is the kicker. I will be taking one year old twins. My husband and I can't agree. Convince me either way. Should we stay closer or go to Marrakesh?

Marrakesh is much more interesting than Casablanca. If it were just the two of you, I would say go for it. But I wouldn't do it with your twins.

Does anyone know about the cigarette regulations? Are we allowed to buy cigarettes from morocco and bring them on board? Thanks a lot

My wife's family is in Marrakech. Lovely place. Highly recommended.

I don't believe you gave the age of the twins, but here is what you will be missing if you choose not to go to Marrakech. We were lucky enought to have a two day shore excursion to Marrakech back in January of 2011. It was an amazing tour. Even on a one day excursion I don't think you will be disappointed.

Our cruise was a month ago and we decided to do Rabat with the twins- they were 20 months old. That video looks wonderful for our next trip there...

do you know what the actual drive time is between Casablanca and Marrakesh as well as Casablanca and Fes.

Someone told me closer to three hours, but I am sure that fluctuates depending on traffic. ( to Marrakech)
