bearette Posted October 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I hear only wonderful things but is it really worth a 4 hour drive each way? And here is the kicker. I will be taking one year old twins. My husband and I can't agree. Convince me either way. Should we stay closer or go to Marrakesh?
Langoustine Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Marrakesh is much more interesting than Casablanca. If it were just the two of you, I would say go for it. But I wouldn't do it with your twins.

moroccanguy. Posted November 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2013 The drive is not 4 hours each way, but I agree it will still be too far and too long for the little ones.
world777 Posted November 16, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2013 Does anyone know about the cigarette regulations? Are we allowed to buy cigarettes from morocco and bring them on board? Thanks a lot

Cruzer Two Posted December 29, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) I don't believe you gave the age of the twins, but here is what you will be missing if you choose not to go to Marrakech. We were lucky enought to have a two day shore excursion to Marrakech back in January of 2011. It was an amazing tour. Even on a one day excursion I don't think you will be disappointed. Click on http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=27666121&postcount=191 for information on viewing our video of this excursion. bearette Posted December 31, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Our cruise was a month ago and we decided to do Rabat with the twins- they were 20 months old. That video looks wonderful for our next trip there...

bearette Posted January 9, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted January 9, 2014 (edited) Someone told me closer to three hours, but I am sure that fluctuates depending on traffic. ( to Marrakech) Edited January 9, 2014 by bearette
