jwh Posted October 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2013 If we don't finish a bottle of wine purchased from the dining room, do they still hold it for consumption the next night and does this have to be in the same dining room i.e. will the wine follow me if I choose to dine elsewhere the next night? Yes, they will hold it for you, and yes, it will follow you wherever you choose to dine. Of course, it might take a little longer to retrieve it, but they will do it for you. Krazy Kruizers Posted October 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2013 You are also permitted to take any open bottles of wine back to the cabin as well.
moviefan2010 Posted October 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 30, 2013 If you go to a different restaurant it will sometimes take them multiple tries to find a bottle so it is best to call ahead of time so they can do the transfer before you come to dinner. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app Good idea! Sometimes we'll ask for a partial bottle from the MDR when we are dining in PG. I hadn't thought about calling them in advance. Thank you. rkacruiser Posted October 30, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2013 If you know where you will be dining the next night, inform the Wine Steward of that fact and the wine should be in that venue when you arrive.
