Pacific Princess and the original Oriana.

That will bring back memories for lots of Aussies and Kiwis.

Pacific Princess was the original star of the Love Boat. She and her sister Island Princess , became mega stars with that programme. I think one of them is still cruising today as Discovery.

What year would they have been taken?

Also very interesting to note the Sydney skyline.....

If you can get a hold of the negatives they are more valuable than the printed photos. With the negatives they can be scanned into high resolution digital images brining back the true colour and top quality. If you found the photos then the negatives wont be too far away if they were kept and if I were you I would be going after the negatives now that you have seen what the photos are.

Oriana's last cruise was in 1986 so obviously earlier than that. :p

So great to see old photos of ships like this brings back great memories. When I was young my brother who worked on the wharf's used to take slides of many ships and sometimes would take me with him to visit on board. I can still remember some of the their names like the original SS Arcadia, Oriana, and Canberra, not to mention the Fairstar. He has passed on 21 years ago, so I'm not sure if these slides would still be around with his family.
