Cruising abroad

Hi, I would like to ask the seasoned cruisers here especially the ones that have cruised abroad, is there a cruise line that you can cruise over say to Spain and get off there for maybe two weeks then cruise back. I have been on a few cruises but nothing this grand and I have a cousin that is interested in doing this but I have found nothing so I will put the question out to you seasoned cruisers.

Cunard runs cruises from New York to England and back several times a year. You could get off and tour Europe and then return on a later cruise. Also there are repositioning cruises each year as ships leave the Caribbean for Europe and return 4 to 6 months later. Some lines do around the world cruises as well if you have lots of time and good finances.

That would be on the QM2. The other option is that a lot of cruiselines send ships back and forth in the spring and fall as placements. That however, would be one ways.

You cal leave from the US on a ship in late spring, early summer and then once you get to Europe, do some land tour action, or you can fly over to Europe (like we do), front end a cruise with some land tour action and then grab a TA back.

Since you would probably need to deal with more than one cruise line and have a rather complicated itinerary to set up would suggest you find a TA that specializes in this kind of thing.

I would personally fly to Europe, tour for some time, and then grab a trans-Atlantic back.
