Cupcake Cupboard on Indy

I heard that the new re-furb of Indy gave her a cupcake cupboard. We are cruising in Jan. and my DD would love to do the cupcake decorating class. It's not showing up on my pre-planner so I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience. Is it easy to sign up for on-board? TIA

You can sign up on board if it is not showing on the on line options. Doubt that you will have any trouble with a desired day or time.

I did this on the independence this May.The classes were only on certain days and there was no problem booking.

Enjoyed it a lot although we only got to do one cake.

Probably a little over priced for what you get.

For Liberty and Freedom I've reserved it ahead of time under Specialty Dining. Onboard reservations are generally available as well, just stop by the shop on embarkation day.

Yes, there is a charge for both. Cupcakes are in the $3 range, but don't know about the class.

Yes, to both.

 

Not sure what the charge was, but when we could go across the hall to the promenade cafe for a snack, paying for a cupcake never made sense, so we never did it.

 

We did see multiple times during the week where the cupcake classes were running, but I didn't check out the price - but I do know there was a charge.

Personally I don't see me buying a cupcake for a snack when the ship will be full of food for free. My daughter may be interested in doing the class though. Thanks everyone :)

The class was $22 for adults and $15 for children. :eek: Don't know if it has changed in the last year.

My DW still reminisces fondly of the red velvet cupcakes. Best $3 we ever spent on a cruise. :D
