from what i have seen not worth it, you are paying for a bed or a pod and some leg room not worth it,

sauna is free hot tubs free pool free,

a bit more leg & arm space & a bit more breathing space not free

you will see for your selves soon

I'm confused.

That looks like the YC area. Are they selling it out to everyone else now? Will it still be available as an inclusive for YC members?

nothing to do with yc area, its a extra area put aside for those either daft enough or more money than sense to a bit of space

( top 18 ) is deck 18 mid ship near the funnel

Wow! Carnival Cruise line doesn't even charge for using their Serenity deck. But, on the other hand, they don't let kids cruise for free.

So, it may well be worth the added expense just to have access to adults only refuge. That is, if they actually enforce the age limits.

I have read on previous MSC Divina daily programs that you can purchase access to the solarium for the whole cruise.

Can anyone confirm this package is still offered and what the cost is currently? Does this package include the sunbeds only or will it also include the rattan sunbeds too?

Previously it was $50 p/p for the whole week - doesn't state any difference in price between the two types of bed though. (Reference material - MSC Divina - Daily program dated December 2013)

Definitely very tempting for us either way!

The Yacht Club deck area is forward, above the Yacht Club cabins and lounge; it is only for those booked in Yacht Club cabins.

T18 is the for-fee, adults-only sundeck area midships on deck 18.

Thank you tbmrt for posting.

I'd like to hear from someone who actually paid for Top 18 to get their views.

I'll agree it is a bit spartan compared to the Princess Sanctuary, but it's not as over the top either.

We could never find a place in Carnival's Serenity area until very late in the day on every CC cruise we have taken due to chair hogs.

Now, if MSC's Solarium is as nice and peaceful as on RCCL's Vision class, that will be the place to be.

We paid for a rattan one afternoon on our cruise. It was so very worth it! We had cocktails, the attendant brought us satays, for free. And, he also brought us multiple chill towels. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. There were only a few other couples up there with us. And, it was nice watching the pool games down below without actually being with everyone. Cheers!

Yes, we enjoyed it. And, $15.00 for a rattan for an afternoon felt like money well spent. It would be great if the hot tub was enhanced by the addition of a pool, but the privacy, elbow room, and quiet relaxation time was lovely, nonetheless. And, we made good use of the showers up there to cool down. One shower in particular was freezing cold, which was shocking but wonderful!
