When United airlines changes your ticket not once or twice but seven times and makes it impossible to cancel flight to go on another carrier at a reasonable cost.. (the only other carrier that could take son home was 4 times what we paid for his ticket 8 months prior to cruise) and gives you a flight time that is almost impossible to make it to airport, where you slide into the airport just before cut off time. Early Disembarkment is well worth it.

As i said to me this well worth it, and the others in our cabin get to enjoy the benefits of it.

it is your choice and i can live with my choice best $50 we spend for a week of spoiling.

To each his own. I used it for our cruise in September, and thought it was well worth the money. I liked the early boarding, the immediate access to our room (I carry on a lot of soda), and bypassing the huge line at guest services. I liked it so much that I purchased it for my two upcoming cruises.

Boarding must have started LATE if you only waited 30 minutes for your cabin to be ready... they are in general ready at 130?

Maybe they need or want their luggage soon, maybe they dont want to wait to get off in a tender port. I sure will use the line at guest services, those lines can be a pain.

Its all relative, whats a "waste" to use could be great to someone else.

They started at 11:00.

FTTF is the best $$ we have ever spent!! We just booked this cruise on the Breeze last week that leaves in 5 days and I would pay $100 to have FTTF right now...especially due to the fact that I have a really bad ankle that is about to have reconstruction surgery when we get back & I would love the fact of not having to wait to embark, disembark and several other different scenario's!!! But unfortunately we are S#it out of luck...

So while others think it's a waste...I'd pay double and even triple!!

I consider it money well spent after my recent experience with it. Security lines when we arrived (around 10:30) had about fifty people in the regular line, five in front of us in the priority line. Check in had about 100-150 people in the regular line, only two in front of us in the priority line. Boarding started about 11:15 and we were dropping our drinks and carry-ons off in our cabin ten minutes later.

Disembarking was just as easy. Got to the priority waiting area at 8:00 and we were driving away from the port by 8:45.

As others have said, what is or is not a waste of money is subjective. To us, this was great as we had a stress free embarkation and debarkation, and we didn't have to carry around our carry on bags and two 12 packs of bottled water until 1:30.

Yes, this is another Carnival money maker, but to each their own. I never make it to my room till after 3 PM, sometimes 5 or 6, so no rush, my luggage just sits next to me in a lounge ( all of it, we give none to porters).

Off at ports never seem a problem, we get off asap, never had a big line?

Service desk, only stop at it on the last night "IF" I need to adjust gratuity

Just seems a waste to me personally, for someone else...go for it.

To each their own, personally I cannot justify paying more than 5 bucks for a drink, but drink like a fish in port for buck a bottle....we all make choices.

To me FTTF is a waste like an OV or balcony is...again, personal choice

We are just off the Liberty and we had it. I wouldn't do another cruise without it. Priority Embarking no waiting in line, in our room by 12:00, no waiting in line for tender in Belize or Grand Cayman, no waiting in line at Guest Services and off the Ship by 7:00 am. Best 50.00 I spent on the cruise.

My wife wants to get the FTTF "excursion" too. We are a family of 6 with 2 cabins booked with 3 staying in each cabin. Can we get by with buying just 1 FTTF? Could we all embark together? With access to only one cabin I know we could put all of our carry-ons in one room perhaps. What about tendering? Would we all be able to get on the tender together? Just wondering about this. Thanks.

An example how the priority debark is handy (besides the obvious early flights):

I say this because we are never in a real rush to get off the ship either. It really means your vacation is over when you *ding* out for the last time. But on our last cruise, we had FTTF btw, it was such a blessing. It was one of those few and far between cases, nobody could get off the ship because of some mess up in the crew paperwork. It was almost 11 before anyone could get off. You better believe we were soooooo very happy to be in that first group escorted off! Thank you FTTF.

P.S. We love all the other little perks as well. That's why I'm crossing my fingers another spot opens up so I can waste more of my money, because the cruise I booked yesterday FTTF is sold out!!

You have to have one for each stateroom. It clearly states this. So if you get lucky and there are some available ( they don't put many out) then you will buy one for each booking (room)

Happy Cruising!
