I noticed that in a pic posted her on the Pride was a flat screen tv and it wasn't in a suite. Does anyone know if the Pride now has flat screens in every room?

Our balcony cabin did not have a flat screen last year.

We were mid ship on empress deck with a balcony,

No flat screen.

some reported having them, I know we did not. Maybe they only get replaced as the current TVs break?

We had six cabins on the Pride in January and only one cabin (5177) had a flat screen. They seem to only be installing them if the boxy ones are broken.

Just stepped off the Pride on Sunday. We were on deck 8 in a extended balcony and did not have a flat screen tv.

Was on the Pride last week, and our room 8254 had a flat screen. In May our room 8250 also had a flat screen.

I was on her in April, cabin 6232, and it did not have a flat screen.

We just got back on 10/26/2013 and cabin 7280 did have a small flat screen.

Is there a difference? I know you can now check your S&S balance on some? Are the flats on a wall mount freeing up more table space? Just wondering why one is better?

We were able to check the S&S balance on our regular TV. The flat screen has a better picture quality, but both have the same channels, etc.

We were in an ocean suite in August and did have a flat screen. Sorry, but I can't recall the cabin number but it was on Verandah deck.

We were on the Pride in February. Mid-voyage, the standard screen TV had "issues" and was replaced with a flat screen. Maintenance person said all replacements are with the flat screen but they are not replacing the standard screens if not warranted.

 

This is not limited to the Pride as when we were on the Legend in September, our cabin had the flat screen and our daughter's cabin next door to us had the old standard screen.
