coconutmonkey Posted November 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2013 We're sailing the Crown in December and were wondering which dining room on the Crown has the embarkation lunch. Is it still difficult to get past the waiters to get in? We are also doing a back to back. Do intransit passengers automatically get the embarkation lunch? Thanks for the help. caribill Posted November 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2013 All, new and B2B, passengers should be able to eat lunch in a dining room on embarkation day from noon until 1:30 PM. Most likely it will be in the dining room near the atrium on deck 6, but check the embarkation day Patter to be sure. Recently there has been no pushback at the dining room entrance embarkation day on any of the ships, but other ship's personnel are still likely to steer you to the buffet if you ask. sminfiddle Posted November 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2013 If you have time to go to your room and check the Patter, that has the official word on embarkation day dining - it's on the back page. Open 12 noon to 1:30 as Bill says. Running late? It's most likely the DaVinci dining room, take the Midship elevators to Deck 6 if you're cutting it close. Intransit passengers can eat in the DR or any place they want. We like the International Cafe on boarding day. You can get a nice light soup, salad and sandwich and be on your way.
