I sailed on 2 Thanksgiving cruises on Carnival. The 1st on the Imagination we ate in the dining room. Their turkey is not the same as what we eat. My family didn't enjoy it.

Last year on the Liberty, we ate at the Buffet. There they had real turkey being carved. I enjoyed that meal so much better.

Just my opinion. I didn't have to cook all day and clean all night so I was happy. I enjoy sailing over Thanksgiving and am actually missing not going this year.

Enjoy your cruises and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I certainly hope they changed their Turkeys. Most horrid stuff I ever had at sea, till I tried it on Royal Caribbean. Now I give the award to them.

We did the Splendor - over Thanksgiving - in 2008. The closest thing to a "Turkey Dinner" on the menu was the Turkey Farfalle.

This sounds like a pretty good menu!

The new menu sounds great...I would have real turkey something at lunch and try several entrees at dinner with friends..so safe fro the pressed stuff...I bet they are really putting on a nice dinner...they are on their way back up after issues..I have faith...Have a GREAT TIME EVERYONE!!! would love to get my family on a holiday cruise..Sarah

Does anyone know if this is really the menu?

This is was what John Heald posted on his Facebook page. I'm wondering will they still have the Every Day menu as well. That's the one from which my 15 y.o. usually eats. If not, I guess she will have to get pizza or something else from the Lido. She loves getting dressed to go to the MDR but is a boring eater.

Huh? Thanksgiving was a month ago!

In the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving usually on the last Thursday of November. I say "usually" because it can fall anywhere between the 22nd-30th, and if it falls on the 22nd or 23rd then it is not the last Thursday in November.

I sailed in 2011 and 2013. 2011 is was pressed, nasty turkey. The menu SOUNDS pretty good but the question is "will it TASTE any good":confused:;)

Easier to just say it's the fourth Thursday in November. ;)

Never been much of a turkey fan, so whatever they serve won't bother me at all. I'm having filet mignon for Thanksgiving dinner, and a Guy's burger for lunch. Best Thanksgiving meals ever, can't wait!!
