Good morning friends! Well the pre cruise excitement is over.... welcome to day one of LIVE from Allure of the Seas! It's beautiful morning here in Fort Lauderdale and I'm off shortly for breakfast and more importantly, COFFEE!!!

 

From my balcony this morning. The sun is out bright today

There's Allure!

Allure has upgraded their wi fi and now offer a unlimited package for the week for $179 so I will be taking advantage of that.

 

I also promise again to get shots of the menus, and food because everyone enjoys food porn, especially me!

 

Also I try to respond to questions as best I can. Please know if I don't answer it's not intentional and I do appreciate everyone that follows along

Today: Same old, same old...why not take a cruise and get some real weather!

 

Tonight: COLD with winds to 50 MPH, but it will be warm in the Caribbean!

 

Tomorrow: High in the upper 30s, but it will be hot and sunny in the Caribbean.

 

Rest of the week: Truck is parked, you are on vacation!

Pelican is right by the waterway just north of the 17th street bridge. Best bet is to have one of the bellmen give you a ride from the lobby down to it in one of the golf carts.

 

There is not a state park nearby but in the map below here is some public parking:

Thanks for the map. We live 30 miles North of this (since July) and always wanted to drive down for the afternoon, park and watch the ships sail out and then have dinner.

WOW Chris, you couldn't have a better day for sailaway. 90% of the time when I watch her go out it's at least cloudy...hope this cloudless day holds up!

 

I'm sooooo excited!:D

 

Our cabin is on the starboard side of the boardwalk so our secret balcony is on the other side...but just outside our door! But for sailaway, we are going over to port side so we can wave at you guys. I'm going to come up with something really different so you can see us. Maybe the Texas Flag! Gotta think about it. How about LIME boas Ha! Like that Emmy?
