Hopefully the Itinerary is correct.

 

It will be interesting to see what Rabaul will be doing the day your in!, Hope you got your dust masks!! ;)

150 metres in fact. It would have been quicker to swim between the ship & the beach!

It would have been! and in fact coming back on board we spent longer in the que for security screening than we did on the tender!

If anyone is thinking about doing one of the PNG cruises, I thoroughly recommend it. Beautiflul ports, amazingly friendly and welcoming locals. It was wonderful.

No, I think more for weapons from the markets (there were lots of wooden spears, knives, etc available) and for drugs. They weren't too worried about food coming back on board, we brought bannana's back on a couple of times.

 

Also the security staff on this cruise were a little bit slow & methodical, and there were a lot of people who, putting it polietely, needed a lot of assistance gettting on and off, and through the metal detectors.
