I see on marine traffic appears freedom of the seas returning to port caneravel for possible medical issue

Well, some RCI ship was in the channel on Port Canaveral Webcam right around 9 p.m. Not sure what that was!

Just looked on the webcam again...there's definitely a ship on it!

I wouldn't be surprised...we just left the FOS today and to my knowledge over the course of 7 days there were 4 medical evacuations. I hope all is recovering :(

Interesting. There is someone on my Brilliance of the Seas Cruise in 8 days that just left on this Freedom cruise.

 

I'll have to see if I can't find out what is going on.

 

Of course, if it's medical, that is about the extent we will find out. Respectfully.

Not a very good start after last weeks cruise 4 medical evacuations and a skater seriously injured. He will be out for the next 3 to 4 weeks. Never did hear how bad the girl he dropped is. Here is the link to last weeks events.

Yeah, I just pulled up the live feed. Definitely Granduer. Noticeably smaller than Freedom.

No emergency for Grandeur. Port Canaveral was a scheduled day stop for Grandeur.

I believe the Grandeur was on a normal port call at Port Canaveral. They leave around 9:30 at night.

I will say on my recent FOS cruise, we had one evacuation while docked in St. Thomas and then on a sea day, a request for O+ blood type as there was another medical emergency.

 

That seems very odd that two ships would have to return shortly after leaving. Looks like FOS is about parallel with Cocoa Beach now coming up.
